Add one full-body photo of you and tell Spark which dance to copy, or share a clip and have Spark copy the moves. Rift makes the routine as one short clip.
How the format works
- The routine. A few moves, repeated, easy to learn from a single clip.
- The frame. One person, full body, often in a bedroom, a hallway or outside.
- The hook. The moves land on the song’s main line.
- The pairs. Some takes are done by two people, side by side.
Why it works
A dance with few moves is easy to copy, and it works as a group chat joke. Seeing a friend, a parent or a pet do the routine is what makes people send it on.
Make your own in Rift
- Open Rift and add a clear full-body photo of yourself.
- Tap Share on the dance video you like and pick Rift, so Spark can follow the moves.
- Tell Spark: “Me doing this dance in my living room, full body, camera still.”
- Check the Draft and tap Make.
- Find the video in your Library.
Rift makes one shot of up to 15 seconds. Adding the song is not in the app yet, so add the sound in your posting app. For a longer guide, see make an AI dance video from a photo.
Ideas for a new take
- Your dog doing the routine on the sofa.
- Two friends in matching hoodies.
- A grandparent, with their OK, doing the moves.
- A shop mascot dancing by the counter.
Keep it fun
Use your own photo or a friend’s with their say, and keep it clear it is made for fun.
