Rift respects copyright. If you believe something in Rift uses your work without permission, tell us and we will look at it quickly.
Send a notice
Email [email protected] with the subject "Copyright notice" and include:
- The work you own, or a link to it.
- Where it appears in Rift: a screenshot, the item's name in Discover, or a share link.
- Your name and how to reach you.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by you, your agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you own the work or may act for its owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What happens next
We review every complete notice, remove or disable the content when it is reported in good faith, and tell the person who added it. Accounts that repeatedly add infringing content are closed.
Videos people share into Rift as a reference are used only to plan a new video. They are never shown, published or offered for download in Rift, and the imported copy is deleted within 24 hours.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, email the same address with the subject "Counter-notice", what was removed, why you believe you have the right to use it, and your name, contact details and signature.
You can also report any item inside the app from its menu with Report.
