Rift vs Higgsfield for putting yourself in a video

Updated · Reviewed by The Rift team

Short answer

Rift is an iPhone app where you talk to Spark, its video agent: share a video, say what to change, and tap Make. A 15 second Rift video costs less than 15 seconds of Kling 3.0 or Seedance 2.0 on Higgsfield at monthly prices (checked 2026-10-21). Higgsfield is a website and a wider creative suite. Pick Rift to remake a shared video on your phone; pick Higgsfield for a broad browser toolkit.

Both of these help you make a video with AI, but they start from different places. This page sets out the differences we could check, the date we checked them, and where Higgsfield is the better fit. Rift is ours, so read our side with that in mind; every fact about Higgsfield below links to its own pages.

The short version

Rift does one thing end to end on an iPhone: you show or tell Spark what you want, Spark plans the shots, you tap Make. Higgsfield describes itself as a creative suite for making images and videos, plus audio content Rift doesn’t have yet, from text or reference media, with editing, upscaling and an agent for workflows. One is a focused phone app, the other is a wide browser toolkit.

What a 15 second video costs (prices as of 2026-10-21)

Both apps sell an allowance by plan and charge each video from it, so the fair comparison is the cost of the same length of video on each app’s monthly plans. We used 15 seconds, the longest single Rift video, and Higgsfield’s 720p rates from its pricing page.

Plan, monthly billing Price per unit
Rift Plus Monthly: $14.99 for 200 NRG $0.075 per NRG
Rift Pro Monthly: $39.99 for 600 NRG $0.067 per NRG
Higgsfield Basic: $9 for 120 credits $0.075 per credit
Higgsfield Pro: $29 for 600 credits $0.048 per credit
15 seconds of video Units On Rift Plus or Higgsfield Basic On Rift Pro or Higgsfield Pro
Rift, Fast video 9 NRG $0.67 $0.60
Rift, Fast remake (you in a video you shared) 15 NRG $1.12 $1.00
Higgsfield, Kling 3.0 about 21 credits $1.58 $1.02
Higgsfield, Kling 3.0 Motion Control about 21 credits $1.58 $1.02
Higgsfield, Seedance 2.0 about 66 credits $4.95 $3.19
Higgsfield, Wan 3.0 Prime 45 credits $3.38 $2.18
Higgsfield, Google Veo 3.1 Fast about 64 credits $4.80 $3.09

So a 15 second Fast video in Rift costs less than 15 seconds of Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.0, Wan 3.0 Prime or Veo 3.1 on Higgsfield, on either app’s entry or Pro plan. Higgsfield also lists older, lower-cost models (for example Seedance 1.5 or Kling 2.5 Turbo) that come close to Rift’s Fast price, and its annual billing lowers its Pro and Max prices by about 20 to 25%. Rift’s price for every Make is on the button before you tap, so you always see the exact number.

Questions people ask

Is Higgsfield an iPhone app?

Its help center says it has no mobile apps and works in a browser, including on a phone. It also warns that downloadable apps presenting themselves as Higgsfield are copies. Checked 2026-10-21.

Do both show the cost before you spend?

Yes. Higgsfield's help center says the cost appears on its button before you confirm. In Rift the price is on the Make button before every Make.

What happens if a video fails or I stop it?

In Rift a stopped Make isn't charged. Higgsfield says failed runs are usually returned automatically, though some tools don't offer it. Check each app's current terms.

Can Rift make videos longer than 15 seconds?

Not yet. A Rift video is up to 15 seconds and one shot of Make, with no stitching or extending.
