Describe a picture to Spark and you get up to four versions side by side. Keep the best one, and if it deserves to move, turn it into a video next.
What you need
- An iPhone with Rift.
- An idea, and any photos it should be based on.
Step by step
- Open Spark and say the picture you want.
- Ask for versions. “Four versions” gives you a choice.
- Add photos if a real person, pet, product or place should be in it.
- Check the Draft and the price on Make, then tap Make.
- Pick your favourite in Library. Turn it into a video if you want it to move.
Lines to try with Spark
- “A poster-style picture of my car in a desert at dusk, four versions.”
- “Me as a 1970s film photo on a beach,” with a photo of you.
- “My cat as a museum oil portrait, four versions.”
- “A cosy coffee shop window on a rainy night, warm light.”
- “My candle on a marble table with soft morning light,” with a product photo.
Tips for better pictures
- Name the look. Film photo, clay, anime, oil painting, studio product shot.
- Name the light. Golden hour, neon, overcast, studio.
- Keep one subject. Crowded ideas split the focus. Make two pictures instead.
- Use clear reference photos. Face to camera, no sunglasses, nothing covering the product’s label.
From picture to video
Once you have a picture you love, say “turn this into a video, slow camera push in” and Spark sets it up as a Draft. That’s often the best route to a video with a very specific look.
