Share an ad you liked, add a photo of your product, and Spark remakes it with your product, your cast and your place. Formats like the unboxing or the side-by-side test are good ones to copy. Read what a trend remake is if this is new.
What you need
- An iPhone with Rift.
- A video ad you want to follow, in any app with a Share button.
- A clear photo of your product, and a photo of anyone who should appear.
Step by step
- Share the ad. Tap Share on the ad, then Rift.
- Add your product. Spark asks what should replace theirs. Add your photo.
- Choose the cast and place. Tell Spark who appears and where: your own face, a friend, your shop, your kitchen.
- Read the Draft. Spark names what it keeps (the pacing, the camera, the beat) and what it swaps.
- Make. Tap Make. Save the Draft as a format if you want to run it again later.
Lines to try with Spark
- “Same reveal, but my soy candle, in my own shop window.”
- “Swap their sneaker for my hiking boot, same mud puddle.”
- “Same before and after, but with my cleaning spray on my own oven.”
- “Put my sister in as the customer, my bakery counter as the set.”
- “Same taste test, my hot sauce, my uncle as the one who sweats.”
Tips for a clean result
- Choose ads with one subject. A single person and a single product are easier to follow than a crowd.
- Study the first second. Most ads win or lose on the opening shot. Keep that rhythm.
- Replace the brand, keep the idea. No logos, jingles or characters from the original. Your product and your people only.
- Match the framing of your photo. If the original shows a hand holding the product, add a photo that fits.
- Test two. Try the same format with a different set and see which holds attention.
Beyond ads
The method works for any format: a recipe in a hurry, a morning routine, a reaction clip. Anything you can share into Rift can be rebuilt with your own cast, place and things.
