Two people, one routine, and the fun is in how closely they match. It is one of the easiest dance formats to try with a friend.
How the format works
- The pair. Two people stand side by side, the same height in frame.
- The routine. Identical moves, kept simple so the timing is clear.
- The camera. Still and wide enough for both.
- The finish. One last move together, then a look at the camera.
Why it works
Matching is satisfying, and a pair is easy to cast. You do not need a crew or a practice room, just two people who like each other.
Make your own in Rift
- Tap Share on the clip you want to copy and pick Rift.
- Add a clear full-body photo of each person.
- Tell Spark: “Me on the left, Sam on the right, same routine, on a rooftop at sunset.”
- Check the Draft and tap Make.
- Find the video in your Library and post it.
Rift makes one shot of up to 15 seconds. For the full guide, see group dance video from one photo. To copy the steps from a clip, see how motion transfer works on iPhone.
Ideas for a new take
- Two siblings in matching pyjamas.
- A person and their dog.
- Two shop owners on opposite sides of a market stall.
Keep it fun
Use your own photo or a friend’s with their say, and keep it clear it is made for fun.
