You don’t film anything: you need one good photo of the baby and a dance in mind. Share a dance clip or describe the moves, and Spark makes the baby dance in a video of up to 15 seconds.
What you need
- An iPhone with Rift.
- One sharp, well-lit photo of the baby, with the face and shoulders clear. Sitting up works best.
- An idea of the dance. Simple is good: a bounce, a clap, a sway.
Step by step
- Add the photo. Open Rift and pick it from your camera roll. If you have a dance clip you like, tap Share on it and choose Rift, then add the photo.
- Tell Spark the dance. One line is enough.
- Check the Draft. Spark plans the shots and shows a Draft. The price is on the Make button, so you decide first.
- Make. Tap Make. You can leave the app, and Spark tells you when it is ready.
- Find it in Library. Save it, post it, or ask Spark for a gentler version and Make again.
Lines to try with Spark
- “Make this baby bounce and clap to a happy beat, same high chair.”
- “She sways side to side, then waves at the camera.”
- “He does a little shoulder shimmy in the garden.”
- “Twins in matching onesies doing the same two-step” (add a photo of both).
Tips
- Keep the motion small. Babies read best with a bounce or a wave. Big spins look odd on small bodies.
- Use a bright, even photo. Hard shadows on a face carry into the motion.
- Keep it kind. Use photos of your own family and share with people you chose.
- Add the song last. Rift does not add sound, so pick the track in the app where you post.
