Pick one thing in your photo to change, the place, the light or the outfit, and tell Spark. It keeps you and the pose and rebuilds just that one thing.
What you need
- An iPhone with Rift.
- The photo you want to improve.
- One change in mind: place, light or outfit.
Step by step
- Add the photo. Choose it from your camera roll in Spark.
- Name the change. Say what should be different, and what must stay the same.
- Look at the Draft. Ask for up to 4 versions at once. The price shows on the Make button.
- Make. Tap Make. Compare the versions in Library.
- Refine. Ask for one more adjustment if needed, such as warmer light or a different jacket.
Lines to try with Spark
- “Keep me and the pose, move us to a beach at sunset.”
- “Same photo, but soft morning light through a window.”
- “Put me in a green linen suit instead of this hoodie.”
- “My living room with warm evening light and a darker wall.”
- “My car, same angle, parked in a wet city street at night.”
Tips
- Say what stays. “Keep my face and the pose” protects the thing you like most.
- Match the light direction. If the sun is on your left, ask for a place with light from the left.
- Change the outfit to fit the setting. A linen shirt belongs on a beach, a wool coat in snow.
- Work in steps. Place, then light, then outfit. Each step is easier to check.
- Use real references. A photo of the jacket or the room beats a long description.
Beyond selfies
Small sellers can restage a product on a marble counter, estate agents can warm up a room at dusk, and friends can swap a rainy trip for a sunny one.
