Add a photo of yourself, or of you and your friends, and tell Spark the stands or the sofa. Plain team colours look clean on screen, and no logo is needed.
What you need
- An iPhone with Rift.
- A clear photo of each person who should be in the video.
- Two team colours of your own, or a made-up team name.
- A setting: stadium seats, a pub, your living room.
Step by step
- Tell Spark the scene. Say the setting, the colours and the mood.
- Add the photos. Pick each friend from your camera roll.
- Say what everyone wears. Plain scarves, painted faces, big foam hands.
- Check the Draft. Reply to change the crowd size or the moment.
- Make. Tap Make and find the video in your Library when Spark is done.
Lines to try with Spark
- “Me and my friends in a stadium crowd, red and blue scarves, leaping up at a goal.”
- “Four of us on the sofa in matching striped shirts, popcorn flying as our team scores.”
- “My dad in his armchair with a foam finger, jumping up when the winning point lands.”
- “Me with a painted face in the front row, the crowd roaring behind me.”
- “My dog in a fan scarf on a living room rug, the TV light flickering.”
Tips for a fan video that holds up
- Colours, not logos. Name two colours and keep shirts plain.
- One moment. The goal, the catch or the winning point, not the whole match.
- Crowd as background. Ask for a blurred crowd so your group stays sharp.
- Face to camera. Photos where faces are covered by paint or hats match less well.
- Post when it is live. Make a version before kickoff and a second one after the result.
Other sports moments
The same approach works for a finals night, a school game or a local league. For bigger groups in motion, see how to make a group dance video from one group photo.
