Add Rift to the iPhone Share menu once and it sits in your row for every video after that. Then you can remake any trend with you in it.
Add an app to the Share menu
- Open any video in TikTok, Instagram or YouTube.
- Tap Share. In TikTok and Instagram, look for “Share to”, “More” or the iPhone share icon to open the system menu.
- Scroll the row of apps to the end and tap More.
- Turn on the app you want, for example Rift.
- Drag it up in the list so it shows near the front next time.
Share into Rift
- Tap Share on the video, then Rift.
- Spark opens with the video and asks who should star.
- Add your photo, check the Draft, and Make.
The camera roll route
Some videos can’t be shared out, or the app hides the system Share menu.
- Save the video to your camera roll, or screen record if saving is off and the video is yours or public.
- In Rift, add the video from your camera roll.
- Carry on as normal.
Tips
- Share, don’t screen record, when you can. The original is sharper and remakes better.
- Pin Rift near the front of the Share row so trends are one move away.
- Share from the clip itself, not from a profile or a playlist.
