How to make a hype video for your club or team from a team photo

Updated · Reviewed by The Rift team

Short answer

Add a team photo in Rift and tell Spark, Rift's video agent, the scene, such as your squad running out of a tunnel in plain green and white kit as lights flash. Spark plans the shot and shows a Draft. Tap Make and you get a hype video of up to 15 seconds, with your own colours and no logos.

Add a team photo and tell Spark the scene. Rift makes a hype video of up to 15 seconds for the group chat before training. For a fan version without logos, see game day fan video without logos.

Tips

Questions people ask

Can I use our club badge?

Keep to your own plain colours and a made-up name. Rift is not for other companies' marks or leagues.

Do all the players need to give permission?

Yes. Ask each player, or a parent for a young player, before you use a photo.

Can I add the match date on screen?

Text over the video isn't in the app yet. Add the date when you post.

Can I make one for the coach?

Yes. Add the coach as a character and ask for a pitch-side moment.
