How to make a movie trailer style teaser of your trip from your photos

Updated · Reviewed by The Rift team

Short answer

Choose a few of your best trip photos, add them in Rift, and tell Spark, Rift's video agent, the trailer feel: a slow reveal of the place, sweeping light, you walking into frame. Check the Draft, tap Make, and share a teaser of up to 15 seconds. Use the one shot as the opening of a longer post.

Questions people ask

Can I make it before the trip?

Yes. Use photos of the place from a booking page or earlier visits, and add a photo of yourself.

Can it hold the whole trip?

No. A video is one shot, up to 15 seconds, so aim for one strong teaser.

Can I add a title to the teaser?

Text over video isn't in the app yet. Add a title in your editing app.

How many photos should I add?

Two to four. One of the place, one of you, maybe a friend.
