A photo of you in an anime frame, a clay version of your dog, a street shot with film grain: the same moment, completely different feeling. Restyling suits profile pictures, party invites and any post that needs a fresh look.
What you need
- An iPhone with Rift.
- A photo with a clear subject: one face, one pet, one car.
- A style in mind, even a vague one.
Step by step
- Pick the photo. Choose a sharp, well-lit one where the subject is easy to see.
- Tell Spark the style. Say “anime”, “clay” or “film”, and add a few details such as colours or mood.
- Ask for versions. Request up to 4 versions at once so you can compare.
- Check the Draft. The price shows on the Make button before you tap. Tap Make.
- Choose and save. Keep the best one in Library. Use Turn into a video if you want it to move.
Lines to try with Spark
- “Turn this into an anime still, soft pastel sky, big expressive eyes.”
- “Make my dog look like a clay figure, chunky and cheerful.”
- “Give this street photo a 35mm film look, warm and grainy.”
- “Redraw my car as a retro anime poster.”
- “Turn my breakfast plate into a tiny claymation set.”
Tips
- Choose faces that point forward. Front-facing photos restyle more cleanly than side views.
- Keep the background simple. A busy backdrop can fight the style. A plain wall or open sky makes the look obvious.
- Name the feeling, not only the style. “Anime, calm evening” and “anime, high-energy battle” give different results.
- Stay consistent. If you restyle a set of photos for a profile or a group, use the same words every time.
- Try film on mood shots. Film looks suit sunsets, cafe tables and street scenes well, and studio portraits less so.
Beyond selfies
Restyle a wedding photo as a painted card, a product shot as a clay mini, your kitchen as a cartoon. The same photo can be four different posts.
