Add a first-day photo and tell Spark what happens, like walking through the school gate and waving. You get a video of up to 15 seconds of that morning moving.
What you need
- An iPhone with Rift.
- A clear photo of your child or yourself with a backpack, face to camera.
- Optional: a photo of the school gate.
Step by step
- Add the photo in Rift.
- Tell Spark the moment: walking in, waving, turning back once.
- Keep the place if you added the gate photo.
- Check the Draft and tap Make after seeing the price.
- Send it from your Library to the family.
Lines to try with Spark
- “My son walks through the school gate with his big backpack, turns and waves, morning sun.”
- “My daughter on her first day in a yellow raincoat, puddles, she jumps and laughs.”
- “Me at my first day of college, coffee in hand, walking across a bright campus.”
- “My nephew boards a yellow school bus and waves from the window.”
- “My dog walks my kids to the gate, tail up.”
Tips
- Photograph at their height. It feels like their day.
- Use morning light. Soft sun looks like a fresh start.
- Keep the move small. A wave or a step is plenty.
- Save it as a format and run it each September.
