Add a photo of your cake or pastry and name the reveal, like a knife cutting a clean slice or ganache pouring over the top. You get a video of up to 15 seconds with no extra filming per cake.
What you need
- An iPhone with Rift.
- A photo of the finished bake, whole item in frame, shot in daylight.
- Optionally a second photo of a cut slice, if the layers matter.
- The reveal you want: cut, drizzle, dust, lift.
Step by step
- Add the photo, or both. Open Rift and add the bake and the slice shot.
- Describe the reveal. What moves, what it shows.
- Check the Draft. Spark shows the shot and what stays: your decoration and colours.
- Make. Tap Make and see the price on the button first.
- Post it. Find the clip in your Library.

Lines to try with Spark
- “My three-layer lemon cake, a knife cutting a slice, the cream layers showing, side view.”
- “My chocolate tart, warm ganache pouring over the top, slow, close.”
- “My strawberry cupcakes in a box, a hand lifting one out.”
- “My croissant on a plate, pulled apart to show the flaky layers, steam rising.”
- “My birthday cake with candles lit in a dim room, camera drifting closer.”
Tips for a clean result
- Photo the inside separately. Whole cakes hide their layers.
- Wipe the plate. Crumbs stay in.
- Choose warm light. Cakes look best in window light.
- Keep the move small. Cut, pour or lift. Not all three.
Beyond cake
Bread, pies, ice cream, bao and brigadeiros all suit the same steps, and so does a market stall display.
