The get-ready-with-me transition is a hard cut: you stand in one outfit, there is a snap, and you are in another. Filming it means a tripod, timing and a lot of retakes. In Rift, you set it up with photos.
What you need
- An iPhone with Rift.
- One clear, full-length photo of you, standing, facing the camera.
- Photos of each outfit, or a plain description.
Step by step
- Add your photo and the outfit photos.
- Describe the cut. Say the first look, the second look and how the change happens.
- Check the Draft. Spark plans the shots. The price is on the Make button.
- Tap Make. You can leave the app and come back.
- Watch the cut in Library and ask Spark to adjust the timing if it feels slow.
Lines to try with Spark
- “Start in pyjamas and a messy bun. Hard cut to a black going-out dress, hair done.”
- “Gym kit to a smart work suit, one snap, same pose.”
- “Jeans and a tee, then a spin and a wedding guest outfit.”
- “Three looks in a row: casual, office, evening. Same spot, same pose.”
Tips
- Keep the pose the same. A matching stance makes the cut feel clean.
- Use full-length photos. Spark needs to see the whole outfit.
- Pick a plain background. Busy rooms make the cut look messy.
- Add words and song afterwards. Rift makes the video. Text is added in the app you post to.
