How to turn your pet into a sticker or cartoon picture

Updated · Reviewed by The Rift team

Short answer

Add a clear photo of your pet in Rift and tell Spark, Rift's video agent, the style, such as a chunky sticker with a thick white outline or a soft cartoon in pastel colours. Spark plans the picture and shows a Draft. Tap Make and you get up to 4 versions at once in your Library.

One clear photo of your pet becomes a cartoon or sticker picture, good for a phone wallpaper or a gift. For a video of a pet doing a trick, try making your dog or cat dance, or see anime, clay and film styles.

What you need

Step by step

  1. Add the photo in Spark.
  2. Name the style. Add colours and the pose.
  3. Check the Draft. Ask for changes in the background or outline.
  4. Make. Tap Make to get up to 4 versions. The price is shown on the Make button before you tap.
  5. Save your favourite from your Library.

Tips

Questions people ask

Can I use it as a phone chat sticker?

You get a picture to save and share. Use your messaging app's own sticker tools to turn it into a sticker pack.

Does it keep my pet's markings?

Spark works from your photo, so clear markings help. Say "keep the white paw" if one matters.

Can I do a whole pack?

Yes. Ask for different poses one by one, up to 4 versions at a time.

Does it work for non-pets?

Yes. A plush, a car or a plant can be a cartoon too.
