Add the wedding photo and tell Spark the small movement, such as a veil lifting in the breeze, a laugh or a glance. It becomes a short video.
What you need
- An iPhone with Rift.
- The photo, as a scan or a straight-on picture of the print. Daylight and no glare help.
- A small idea of what should move.
Step by step
- Capture the photo. Lay the print flat by a window and photograph it from straight above. Crop the border.
- Add it to Rift. Pick it from your camera roll.
- Restore it if needed. Faded, creased or yellowed? Ask Spark to restore it first. See restore an old photo and bring it to life.
- Tell Spark the movement. Tap Turn into a video and say what should move.
- Check the Draft and Make. The price is on the Make button. The video lands in Library.
Lines to try with Spark
- “Gentle movement only. She smiles, he looks at her, the veil lifts in a light breeze.”
- “Slow push in toward the couple, they laugh together.”
- “The guests behind them clap softly.”
- “Keep the black and white look, no colour.”
Tips
- Less is more. A smile and a slow camera move feel real. Big gestures break the likeness.
- Say what to keep. “Keep the dress and the flowers exactly as they are” holds the details.
- Check the faces first. Watch the first second. If a face drifts, ask for less movement and Make again.
- Share it with the family. It makes a good anniversary surprise.
